Muffler Man: Stevedore Man

We talked with Stevedore Man's owners. They told us that his real name is Ralph, and that he enjoys holding a football in his upturned palm when seasonally appropriate. They were unaware of Muffler Men as a species, but told us that Ralph has a twin in New Mexico. They were excited to hear that they were on Roadside America.

Muffler Man - Stevedore Man

When I was little he used to still have his hammer, but over the years he must have lost or retired it. He now holds a Seahawks 12th man flag. He overlooks the Everett waterfront as its silent protector.

I just love seeing things that are many times their actual size, so needless to say, "I love Muffler Man." Wonder if they put a giant Santa hat on him for Christmas?
