As a professional Abraham Lincoln portrayer who happened to be visiting a school in Kankakee, I just had to stop and see Giant Abe Lincoln at Alexander Construction (technically in Bourbonnais). I had a nice chat with owner Jerry Alexander and some of his employees, and of course I also had my photo taken with the biggest Abe I know.

Not worth the effort of getting off the highway. Seen best from the interstate anyway.
[Don Eby, 09/01/2015]
Had a chance to jump off the interstate and get a close-up shot of Abe. He still stands at Alexander Construction, but is no longer holding anything in his hand. He was made by F.A.S.T. in Sparta, Wisconsin, and his mold is still in their bone yard. As far as I know he is the only Abe that has been pulled from that mold. He was made around 2004.

Not that great -- easy to miss and hard to access from the interstate.
[Katie, 01/01/2014]
Previously submitted but now I have a photo for you. Abe Lincoln faces south alongside Interstate 57. He's north of the road and west of the Rt.50 interchange (I-57, a generally N/S road is running E/W briefly here). He's at a business that rents or sells construction manlift machines. Since my prior sighting he's now done up as Abe Lincoln. Photo from moving car. Will get a better one when I figure out how to get to it other than stopping on the interstate.
[Steve Kraus, 05/25/2006]Abe Lincoln, who manlifted slaves from human bondage.
