At the intersection of Highways 89 and 16A there are cement dinosaurs on the side of the road, along with a whole bunch of outdoor rocks and petrified wood. The store has many interesting pieces (some not for sale) and a very friendly staff.

These miniature concrete dinos live in the parking lot of a rock shop just east of downtown Custer. They seem to be little brothers to those at Dinosaur Park in Rapid City. They have what look to be real (and gross) animal teeth glued into their mouths, but they're pretty cute nonetheless.
[luther rochester, 01/01/2006]We happened upon these little guys that live in the gravel parking lot of a rock shop on our way down from the Needles. There are four in total. Lighting wasn't the best for photos, but I did what I could. I'll try to take better shots next time i'm back.
