A very fun, not overly expensive trip. We were amazed that the ride was over 20 minutes long, with a wonderful playground stop in the middle. We loved the rugged atmosphere. The hobby shop was incredible, too!
[Renee, 09/05/2015]Largest and most fully equipped 3" scale railroad in the world. Complete with buildings, bridges, tunnel, trestle and trains. Eight engines and over 75 cars. A 10 stall roundhouse with turntable. Almost 4 miles of track. Absolutely amazing!

This is a model railroad that you ride, not a tabletop display. Nearly 600 tons of steel went into its construction, and it's reportedly the largest miniature railroad in the world. Built by William "Pa" Stenger Jr as his personal train set, he opened it to the public in 1982. When Pa died in June 2012, his casket was placed on a flat car and he was taken for one last ride around his attraction.
