Albuquerque, New Mexico: Chainsaw-Carved Chainsaw Lumberjack (Gone)

25-ft. tall, carved in 1984 from a single log. Vandalized in the 1990s by high school morons who dragged him down the street and set him on fire.

Directions:
K&S Service Center. East side of the city. On the west side of Eubank Blvd NE, one block south of I-40 exit 165.

August 2022: Confirmed gone.

Chainsaw-Carved Chainsaw Lumberjack

K&S Equipment Sales and Service is closed (out of business?), and the chainsaw wielding lumberjack is no longer on the roof. I searched all around the immediate area and he was nowhere to be found.

The carved lumberjack is on the roof of K&S Equipment Sales and Service.

The big lumberjack with the chainsaw was carved in 1984 by a pair of wandering chainsaw artists. It was a gift to Abe Kreider for letting them sell their carvings at his lawn and garden equipment repair business for several months.
