While the coffee business is still there, the Espresso Cup is gone. Due to a laundry list of necessary maintenance needs, it was cheaper to build new than try to remodel.
[Lorie, 09/10/2017]Maltby Espresso Cup
This was worth the trip since it was in a cute little area. There was the stand, a restaurant (that was apparently very popular), and an antique shop (doesn't open until 9 am).
[Connie from Seattle, 03/21/2013]Ron Nardone, owner of the entire town of Maltby, has put in an espresso drive-thru. While Espresso in a town outside Seattle is not a big deal, this espresso drive thru is in the shape of a tall latte cup! Straw and all! While in Maltby take a look around at the 100's of old signs Mr. Nardone has on the walls of his buildings. He has Coke signs, Oil and Gas signs and so on. The entire town is made up of two buildings -- the old Maltby School House and the old Maltby Gym. Mr. Nardone has taken these two buildings and made them into a the Maltby Cafe, a rental hall and lots of shops.
