Windsor, Ohio: USA's Tallest Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Mary statue has been re-tiled and cleaned. There is also a nice gift shop and a small chapel on the grounds that was renovated and very peaceful to visit.

I attended this attractions' festival last year -- it was $5 a carload. It was held around Independence Day. This was my 2nd time visiting the "Servants of Mary."

I would like to know that at least someone's getting use of the "farm-country" attraction. When my family lived on this property, we had to move because we could not afford to keep it. God never said life would be easy; going back there for the festival was sad. Music, fireworks, a soldier salute, food and drinks, fishing, horses and other activities for families were some of the things they had. I even had time to talk to God.

My wife and I visited this beautiful place in July 2000. I took pictures of the statue of Mary. It is around 50' tall. When we got the pictures developed one of them had what appeared to be ghost-like figures at the bottom of the picture. I never believed in this kind of stuff so I just placed the pictures in a photo album.

Tonight I was going through the albums and found the pictures. The picture suddenly became a little eerie, and more interesting and intriguing. I have no explanation what the fog-like stuff is [at the base of the statue]. I would like a professional to investigate this picture.

Stopped by to check out the World's Largest Mary, reports that it's as big as the statue of liberty are false...she is quite huge, but maybe only a few stories tall. I would also like to add that she is next to the largest Rosary (possibly in the world). The beads are lights and there's a white crucifix laying down at the foot of the pond at Mary's feet.

There is a statue of Mary, mother of Jesus, that is as large as the Statue of Liberty. I will write back with its location.
