Newville, Pennsylvania: Tiny World (In Transition)

Ernest Helm built a town in miniature -- for his cats. He died in October 2015 and his family maintained the complex of tiny buildings, decorating them with lights for the holiday season. Tiny World closed in October 2024; all of the buildings were then purchased and moved to Newville.

Tiny World

A complete miniature village, includes homes, churches, schools, gas station, and other buildings, roughly knee high to an adult. Lighted, with some moving components, especially decorated at Christmas. Walking paths meander between the buildings. I've been told the owner builds one building a year -- not sure if that's the case. Quite clever; kids as well as adults will like it.
