  Point Pleasant, West Virginia - Stainless Steel Pioneers

  The path along the river is also accessible from the state park. The access point is just to the left of the grave of Cornstalk, when you are facing away from the river. The statues are spaced out, with most being closer to the upriver access point.

  The statues are hidden from downtown, on the riverwalk side of the city flood wall. You can access the far side of the wall at the west end of 4th St. The statues should all be south of that portal.

  Tonopah, Nevada - World Famous Clown Motel

  It's definitely a destination and not near anything else. If you like clowns this is worth the trip! We stayed in the Fear Unlimited room -- lots of flowing action under the black lights. More fun than a standard room. The gift shop/museum is chock full of clowns including Charlie -- who is apparently haunted (check out Zak Baggins freaking out when his hand moved!) the owner is very sweet and welcomes any clown donations. Buy a sweatshirt or souvenir too!

  The town itself is also very cool, with the haunted Mizpah Hotel down the road. We did the ghost tour of the hotel and cemetery. The guide was kind of rambling and going off script.
