  From downtown, drive west on VT-125/College St. After you pass the big white stone church on the right, make the next left onto the campus of Middlebury College. Drive in a hundred feet, and you'll see the tombstone-like monument on the left.

• San Francisco, California - Mosaic Tile Steps of 16th Avenue

  If you keep going up, beyond is another staircase to the very top of the hill where there is a bench and a view to die for! We could see down over Golden Gate Heights -- homes out to the horizon of the Pacific and even the top of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is worth the climb of the stairs -- unless you don't do stairs very well.

  Directions:

  On the campus of the University of Florida, outside the entrance to Turlington Hall. I-75 exit 387. drive east on Hwy 26/Newberry Rd for 4.5 miles. Turn right at the stoplight onto Buckman Drive. Drive south a quarter-mile. Turn left onto Union Rd. Drive one block. Turn right at the stop sign onto Newell Drive. Drive a half-block. You'll see the round windows of Turlington Hall on the right, and just past them, in a little plaza, stands the Turd.
