- Lakeville, Minnesota - Hot Sam's: Big Weird Junk
Astounding! A wonderland of antiques and mystical and imaginative sculptures and other creations, most of which are made on the property. Super wholesome and kind owners stated "everything is available for purchase or trade and everything is negotiable." Notable sights include giant sunflowers, the Petticoat Junction water tower, Doc Hudson from the movie Cars, a giant motorcycle, a mini Jurassic Park, and countless other gems.

- Hot Sam's Antiques. I-35 exit 81. Drive east a quarter-mile on Hwy 70/210 St. W. Turn right at stoplight onto Kenrick Ave. Drive south two miles, continue through traffic circle, then continue south another quarter-mile. You'll see the entrance on the right.

This big guy is located outside of the Natural History Building on the University of Illinois quad. He stands where real mammoths wandered 30,000 years ago. The sculptor was Tom Hensley; the painter was Angela Norman. Taylor Studios used a 3D model to design the mammoth.

- On the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The mammoth stands outside the southwest corner of the Natural History Building, just west of S. Matthews Ave.
Four futuristic (for their time) homes were featured in the 1933-1934 Chicago World's Fair. They were brought across Lake Michigan by Robert Bartlett to encourage building in that area. Another came by truck. The homes all stand within walking distance of each other and represent different phases of time and design. They are situated in the Indiana Dunes National Park system and tours are periodically available. At least two of the homes are privately inhabited.

The adjacent USS Batfish Museum is currently closed due to Arkansas River flooding a short time ago. Call to make sure they are open.

- Directions:
- In War Memorial Park. I-40 exit 286 onto Muskogee Tpke. North to exit 33. Turn east, then a quick turn north into the Park. The statue is just to the left of the gated entrance.
Spaces aliens on the outside, Blues Brothers and Elvis on the inside.
[Kim Anderson, 04/24/2024]This shop, owned by Cody and Lauren Garnett, is notable for its many outdoor displays, including head-in-hole and simulated butts photo-ops, a dinosaur, and an eight-foot-tall saddled pink flamingo towed by a truck. Cody is a former rodeo cowboy.
