Right in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Rocky Balboa statue there is a historical marker documenting the first Thanksgiving Day Parade in America, not the usual man-stood-here-and-he-was-important markers that are usually put up.

In the gift shop in the Independence Visitor Center at Independence National Historical Park there are figures of three Philly icons that all say "Snap a Photo" at their base. There's Rocky Balboa, the Philly Phanatic of the Phillies baseball team, and Mr. Ben Franklin -- who has his own museum about a mile away.

The three large abstract figures represent tourists: one points skyward, the others lean back to follow its direction. When you Look! through the holes in their heads, you get a framed view of tiny real tourists at the top of the 1,149-foot-high STRAT Casino tower.
