Glenn Goode: Making a Muffler Man Head (2002)
[Glenn Goode:] You have to take this mold apart with the screws that's on it and fold it out - it's got to be a double part and you wax it real good and shine it up and then you take your gel coat paint and shoot on the inside, however how you want it and then the color that you want it.
And then you let it dry and then you put your fiberglass mat on top of that and your cloth on top of that, and you saturate with you resin and work all your air out and then you let it dry, when it dries then you trim it up, and then you can pull it out of the mold. You got to have the mold in halves to mold it in there then after it's molded in there then you take it seam this where you see those screws up, you put it all together and then seam it up, and you pull the halves of molds off and then you got your head.
