World's Largest Burger
Clearfield, Pennsylvania
The biggest burger they make at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub is 123-pounds, spontaneously clotting arteries in a 4 county radius. But that didn't stop us from ordering a 15-Pounder in advance and driving around with it for the rest of the day.
This video provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse in Denny's kitchen, where the meat magic happens. [2:10]

Making the World's Largest Burger(2007)
Denny Liegey: I was one of the first three original competitive eaters on the 2-pounder of the day we launched it in 1990.
We had to develop special pans, to keep the form correct.
Denny: Sometimes it takes a little longer, that's why we require on some of these burgers 24-hour notice, or a little longer, because of the enormity of them. Now we do a lot of low heat.
That's the face.
Denny Jr: Banana peppers, relish, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, we put pickles on the top and lettuce and onions and tomatoes and cheese.
Denny: Whenever we set it down front of you want it to be perfect.
Denny Jr: We're kind of like the founding father of this big burger thing.
