[Gary, 11/29/2007]This is my neighbor's muffler man - he put him up to represent his sawmill. This man is located at Mile 62 on the Alaska Highway, which is indeed a few miles north of Charlie Lake/Fort St. John, BC.
We often notice tourists slowing down to take a look at him - only a couple of people have actually had their picture taken with him.
[Heather, 11/19/2007]On my way from WA to AK - via the Alaska-Canadian Highway, I saw a real muffler man (one hand up, one hand down). Its a few miles (km's) north on the main highway out of Ft. St. John, British Columbia. He's painted like a logger with a red shirt and jeans, but he is right next to the road and you can't miss him.
