This is all that's left of the Pink Elephant restaurant. It now sits outside a casino riverboat in Marquette on the corner of Hwy 76 and Anti Monopoly street. This is a full size pink elephant in a top hat. When I was going to school across the river in Prairie Du Chien, WI, this was the best place to go for steaks when the folks came up to visit. Sadly my old high school is now a prison complete with double 15 ft. high fences topped with razor wire.
This elephant watered skiied across the mighty Mississippi to meet Jimmy Carter when came to visit Prairie.

[Richard Stockman, 03/31/2011]This past October we were traveling along the Mississippi River. The notorious pink elephant has received a new outlook and has gone spotted. He looks like one of the 101 dalmations. They have a gambling establishment/hotel instead of the little pink motel.

The Uniroyal Gal is no longer at the Pink Elephant. She is in Virginia right now to be refurbished to look like a pirate and is planned to be used for a new project that the Pink Elephant's original owner is working on, called "Pirates of the Mississippi."
