A giant chicken stands outside of Ed Bock Feeds, dressed in different costumes for various holidays and local events. It was sporting a basketball uniform and oversized sneakers when I saw it.

This tank was painted like a Piston's basketball about a year ago, for the Piston's 2004 victory. The other side is painted for the Detroit Shock (Detroit's women's basketball team). It was for years painted like a giant baseball, but although pretty neat, was nowhere near as eye-catching as this. I have passed by it many times and it still looks the same.... it has not faded at all.
If you want to take a picture, a small step ladder (or cooler) will give you an unobstructed view of the subject. It is on the I-75 service ramp so is very easy to reach.
