Outside the outfield fence of Duane Banks Baseball Stadium. From downtown drive west on US Hwy 6. Turn right onto Hawkins Drive. The hawk will be on the right, just before the stoplight at Elliott Drive.

The University of Iowa has a large stainless steel statue of the school's mascot, a hawk. It is quite impressive and looks like it is about to land on a giant boulder.
