This place is called Cooper's Seafood, and it's really great for getting lost in the collections of stuff here. In my opinion it's worth a pretty big detour. It will take you down memory lane. Cooper's also has some good food, and a nano brewery where you can get beer made on-site and only sold there.
[Brad, 06/25/2022]So much more then just a pirate ship. Nicole let us in before they opened, as they treat it as a museum, and let us look around. It also had a gift shop full of The Office stuff.

As seen on The Office! More than just a restaurant, Cooper's has become a landmark in Scranton, PA. It's like a museum, flea market, restaurant and Disney rolled into one. Toy dioramas are dispersed throughout. Collectible games and old toys line the walls, along with old photos and memorabilia. An LCB train runs through the original bar and dining room through scenes from around the world! One room has a giant whale in the middle!

This is a great restaurant for anyone on a touristy road trip. The inside is packed with things to marvel over and the food was delicious. We spent the entire meal pointing out new things we we just noticing. The food was a bit pricey, but the picture opportunities were endless.
[Misty, 06/17/2013]Cooper's Seafood House is adding a 45-ft. lighthouse to the pirate ship. The lighthouse will span 28 feet at its base. On the first floor there will be a gift shop featuring Cooper's merchandise, aquatic items and food. On the second floor will be an upscale bar with a seating area for up to 50 people. Along with the bar, appetizers will be served in the lighthouse.
