A private collection of tanks from various nations and eras is all displayed in a former printing warehouse. I was told by the young woman at the museum entrance that the tanks are owned by a Wichita neurosurgeon who collects them as a hobby.
The tanks are identified with individual placards, but there is little other explanatory information or other trappings of a typical museum (gift shop, etc). I didn't make a count, but something like 25 tanks are on display.
[Jonathan Bradley, 04/24/2024]A sign outside the museum cautions, "No Climbing On Tanks."

This mausoleum was constructed from reinforced concrete in the years 1917-1927 by a man who feared having his remains buried in the wet ground. He built the elaborate mausoleum despite having no professional trade skills in construction.
[Jonathan Bradley, 04/24/2024]The mausoleum's accompanying plaque calls it "a technological feat," and notes that all of its human remains were removed in 2017.

There is now no access to the Peachoid parking lot; a chain with a private property sign blocks vehicles. The gate to Peachoid is closed except when maintenance workers need access. I walked up to the gate to take my photo.
[Leeandpaul, 04/24/2024]The gate perspective at least offers a clear butt-eye view.

- Peachoid Rd, Gaffney, SC

- Harrodsburg, Kentucky - Ice Cream Cone on a Pole
Appears to no longer be an ice cream plant. Cone is lying on its side on the dock.
[Scott, 04/24/2024]This was not an ice cream plant, but rather an ice cream equipment supplier. It looks like the building was leveled to make more room for storing milk tanks. The preservation of the cone suggests that it might some day again stand on its pole.

- Directions:
- North edge of downtown, on the north side of W. Factory St., one block east of US-127/N. College St. This is an industrial lot, so ask permission before you walk into it.

Hamilton's Hollow Earth Monument marks the grave of John Symmes, who believed that the Earth was hollow and convinced a lot of other people that it was hollow, too.
