[Jessica, 11/25/2022]Shoe Tree:- Address:
- US Hwy 72, Cherokee, AL
- Directions:
- On the north side of US Hwy 72, either four miles west of Cherokee, or 4.5 miles east of the Alabama-Mississippi state line.
The shoes have spread to nearby trees (some are short and kids may be able to hang the shoes on low branches). Shoe tossing can be tricky -- practice at a safe place first. Be aware that it's next to a busy/fast highway if you have kids.

I'd put the location somewhere near "smack-dab in the middle" of Luka, Mississippi and Tuscumbia, Alabama.

A round-up of Shoe Trees, where hundreds of discarded sneakers and other footwear are tossed. The shoe tree blooms with polymer beauty. The one in Beaver was mostly destroyed in a storm in 2000.
