I went here years ago with the aforementioned dated Sharon Stone and Sly figures. Never have we laughed so hard! There were sensors on each exhibit, which clearly didn't work, so we had a great time hopping in and taking photos with the "stars." A couple of years later we visited again and they had changed out a few figures -- a lonely Yoda got upgraded to Han, Leia and Luke. As a Harrison Ford fan I simply had to jump in again but alas, the sensors apparently got upgraded too. An alarm went off with seemingly little consequence but we didn't hang around too long to find out.
Flash forward to the 21st century and much has changed now. The shabbiness of it seems to be a thing of the past. It's not Madame Tussaud's, but the quality seemed to be better. I'm hoping by now it's fallen back to the laughable cheesiness that we encountered the first time... just not sure I'm willing to shell out the bucks to see.

Parking may cost, but going on Sunday is free. Hollywood Forever also is home to many feral cats. In fact, one of them found its way to Paramount Studios during the filming of The Godfather and Marlon Brandon made the kitty a star and gave it a forever home (rumor, but the cat is in the film).
