Great stop for a good laugh! Directions were a bit off... the exit is correct but head in opposite direction of Cheese Chalet!

This station is proud to be home of the original pink elephant! Don't use their restroom without buying something, unless you want to get a serious stink eye. Children are no exception! Though I wish I had grabbed my wallet on the way in as I totally would have bought a pink elephant magnet!

[Gretchen, 07/27/2017]

The World Pink Elephant Fund relies on your purchases of magnet souvenirs to assure that these noble fiberglass creatures will not someday become extinct.

Painting updated and he is looking fresh. As I understand it, Pinkie's hipster glasses were once sunglasses, but I like the switch better. This elephant isn't fiberglass, it's tough enough for folks to sit on. Also, on the other side of the highway is a giant cow.

Pinkie the Elephant is still looking as sharp as ever.

A rare Pink Elephant with its own historical plaque. And a Shemp haircut!

We have over 600 miles to drive today, but I just had to stop and see this guy! Thanks to the new owners for keeping it going. I don't mind the stickers and graffiti, it just makes it more of a hipster elephant.

[Bridget, 08/04/2013]

Pinkie's owner had the elephant repainted in 2014, and has asked visitors to please stop the graffiti.
