Large Champagne bottle along Rt.9 in New Gretna, NJ. White in color, with smiling faces and grape vines around the base on all four sides.
I have always wondered why it is there, but no one seems to know. There is nothing around that I can see that it belongs or belonged to.

This big white champagne bottle is sitting incongruously in a field right beside US Highway 9. The decoration is detailed and well-done. It would look quite appropriate somewhere in France. It is painted white and is about 20 feet tall. Seems to be made of concrete.

This is an old promotional statue for south Jersey's Renault Winery. It was probably leased as a sort of billboard, and now no one has the heart to demolish the classy landmark. Good thing!
