Vermontasaurus

Built of scrap wood in 2010, it has grown over the years to 160 feet long. Looks like a collapsed barn with feet. Now joined by five additional dinosaurs.

Vermontasaurus - Junk Dinosaur

The main dinosaur is now a pile of rubble. But the place is an oddity for sure. Couldn't figure out where the museum was.

Vermontasaurus: Junk Dinosaur

The Vermontasaurus and outdoor piano are interesting -- but the museum is unique! Lots to see inside the museum, including a room of egg cartons, dead flies, light bulbs, Spam, vacuums, etc.

Vermontasaurus - Junk Dinosaur

Not too hard to find. It was kinda getting late and snowing pretty hard as I was visiting this, but caught a quick photo as I rolled by to give you a glimpse of it in the snow. Not as impressive as I was hoping (to me it takes a little bit of imagination to get a dinosaur out of it). If you look closely you can see the little one that was made next to it. I'll be sure to visit it in the summer to see it better, and give a better judgment on if this is a worthy roadside attraction, or just junk as some locals claim it to be.

[Tyler Salls, 02/26/2013]

It looks like the neck and part of the back has collapsed, maybe due to snow. We hope that creator Brian Boland can perform some junk dinosaur Rx in springtime.
