The Aztec Grist Mill Museum holds tons of artifacts from the early 1800s and the history of Cimarron's wealthy cattle baron B. Maxwell, who was said to be worth over one million dollars when he sold his cattle ranch! His headstrong daughter secretly married Captain Keyes and soon ran off to Oklahoma to avoid the wrath of her father.
It's also well worth the time for history buffs to take the walking tour of Old Town Cimarron.
