- Route 66 into town. At the stop sign turn east onto Main St., then immediately turn right onto Morris St. and park on the right shoulder. The elephant is in the little park between Morris St. and Route 66.

An 11-foot-tall scrap metal elephant made of an oil fuel tank, hubcaps, a basketball backboard, several chrome bumpers, door knobs, and tail pipes -- all formed into a crazy-looking elephant. Created by Kasey Wells, a scrap metal artist who lives in Lexington. He used the elephant in a failed attempt to win the Presidency of the United States.
[Doug Dirr, 06/11/2021]Kasey didn't receive many votes, but he did have more campaign slogans than any other candidate, including "Abolish the Pharma Liability Shield" and "Clean Up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch."
