- Ponchatoula, Louisiana - Old Hardhyde - Town Alligator
Sit down literally beside an alligator. The cage is beautiful and clean. Looks well-maintained. The town is great, easy to navigate around. One of the main reasons we came was to visit the alligator. Could use a large sign showing where to find him. Otherwise you wouldn't know he was there.
[Melissa Dickerson, 07/17/2017] - Ponchatoula, Louisiana - Old Hardhide - Town Gator in a Cage
Gator was cool but slightly depressing, since he is alone in a small enclosure. There are tons of antique stores nearby, which make the detour worthwhile.
[Zack, 02/28/2015] Old Hardhide was sitting very still in the corner of his cage. The kids liked it!
