Don't waste time getting off interstate, 7-up doesn't want you trespassing. You can't see it from Bowdendale, there a building in front of it.

You can also see this from I-95. It's right by the road on the righthand side if you're heading southbound.
[Jacquie, 12/30/2012] You must bypass the buildings on the right to have a view which gives a better sense of proportions of the 7-Up storage tank/can. Excellent publicity!
[Alain-Claude Mainguet, 04/22/2011]The local bottler (SEABEV) built the can in 1978. It sits adjacent to I-95 between University Blvd, and Bowden Rd. It stands 62 feet tall and is shaped to the dimensions of a real soda can...only MASSIVE!
The can is actually a water tower that hold 65,000 gallons of water in treatment for the high speed bottling lines located in the production facility on the same site. More than 325,000 gallons of water pass through the can each day to produce soft drink brands like 7up, Canada Dry, Sunkist, A&W, Hawaiian Punch, and Diet Rite for our consumers in Florida and Georgia. The can was repainted in 2003 from Canada Dry to 7up to celebrate the addition of 7up to our beverage portfolio.
I've made a handful of work trips through the area lately and I've been dying to get my photo snapped in front of this roadside oddity.
[Christina Bolling, 08/20/2010]Yes, it's big and located in a beautiful spot next to a pond.
