Open since 1987. It's like walking through a wax Bible -- populated by Hollywood star dummies in cameo roles.

The BibleWalk staff is incredibly kind. So worth the visit.
[Emily Flores, 09/07/2023]We were greeted by two very sincere ladies, just as described. They wore long, flowing Biblical gowns and gold sandals over Bible Walk t-shirts. Because there wasn't much foot traffic, they spent a lot of time with us, and this kept us appropriately quiet and respectful. We were surprised to learn that Jonah had in fact been swallowed by a giant plush bottlenose dolphin and not a whale, but I guess that's where the Spirit led them when they made the display.
A word of caution: The slow, grotesque reveal of Lot's wife caused nightmares for a small child in our party. We were warned never to go through a closed set of doors, as we would get lost. We followed the recommended path and our Old Testament tour ended in the Bible Walk chapel, which is equipped with chairs, large kneeling-cushions and tissues for those who are moved by the experience.
We were allowed to take photos with the signs outside.
[Kitsa, 07/05/2018]- Mansfield, Ohio - Living Bible Museum
The Living Bible Museum is, to put it mildly, growing -- all the better for weary pilgrims in search of spiritual revelations in wax. In addition to increasing the size of the New and Old Testament Tours, they have added a third tour -- this time of Christian Catacombs...of DOOM! An upcoming tour of wax saints means that The Living Bible Museum is well on it's way to securing a name for itself as the Smithsonian of Religious Wax figures museums.
It must be said that the wonderful people at the LBM are extremely sincere and you'd do best to keep your ironic detachment in check. A little surprised to see a 21 and 22 year old couple dressed in 'trendy New York clothes,' the cashier lady asked us how we heard about LBM. When we showed her The New Roadside America she became excited, but we refused to let her read the review, since we didn't want to break her heart. Instead, she gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of a new diorama, telling us how 'God inspired the artist to choose this fake plastic dove over a fake plastic cardinal.'
[Japhy Grant, 08/26/2002] Being a huge Shawshank Redemption movie fan, this was a must stop. Expect to spend at least two hours. And the driving tour to see some areas where scenes were filmed adds another hour. We did the self-guided tour with the audio and didn't feel we missed anything. However, if you take a guided tour, you'll see some places off-limits. Hours are 11am-4pm and we arrived at 11 and finished everything around 2:30.
