Small detour worth the mems. Be careful of the mud when you make the trek to the marker sign. You may need to move some tree branches to get your photo.

In December of 1998, a United States Seamless crew installed the world's longest continuous piece of seamless steel siding. Measuring 236 feet 9 inches, ten pieces were installed on a commercial building at 2821 Fiechtner Drive. The building still stands today, with the same siding and a sign commemorating the achievement.
[United States Seamless, 08/22/2021]I don't think longest piece of steel siding is outside anymore. We looked all around the building and surrounding parking lot/work sheds behind (Sunday, approximately 4:30 pm) and nothing but normal buildings. Didn't expect a sign or anything, but maybe this is either recycled or moved indoors?
[rhuby, 11/09/2011]Heard about this treasure on the radio. Thought I would take my husband to see the "World's Longest Piece of Seamless Steel Siding" after he complained that there was nothing cool to see in Fargo.
Passed it a couple of times before finally seeing the sign outside of United States Seamless on 45th Street South in Fargo.
