The old Beatles Mural is right next to Kelly's Bar.
[Frank, 05/20/2021]On an outside wall of the garage behind Kelly's Pub is a mural of The Beatles that was painted by Jim Babjak, the guitarist of the rock band The Smithereens, when he was in high school -- probably the 1970s. The pub was a car garage back then, Babjak's father owned it. The Smithereens recorded whole albums of Beatles covers -- they were huge fans.
