Despite being dethroned as the "World's Largest" Pete has stood the test of time and held up much better than the New Mexico roadrunner.

Paisano Pete has apparently been remodeled! The sign proclaiming him "World's Largest Roadrunner" has been removed, and he now rests upon a "Welcome to Fort Stockton" platform.
