- Natural Bridge, Virginia - George Washington's Initials and Laser Light Show
While traveling south on 81 in Virginia last winter my boyfriend and I came across the Natural Bridge, which is supposedly the highest of its kind and is one of the 'Wonders of the World'. The initials "GW" can be found in the rock, the tour guide and several signs tell you they none other than George Washington's initials that he carved when he discovered the bridge. At night they do a laser show that we didn't go to, but that I'm sure would have been entertaining ;)

Stopped by and was lucky enough to see Mark building in his workshop. He was super kind and took time out of his day to give me a personal tour. My dog has an Instagram account (the_gryphon_mom) and he even took the time to take pictures with him.
[Dona Costlow, 08/25/2019]Couldn't see much from the road in winter, but still pretty cool. The alien spider now resides at Dinosaur Kingdom II down the street.
[Toki, 01/14/2017]Mark [Cline] is strange but nice. He asked if we had "the wizard's broom" so we could come in. We got a lot of good pictures, and there are a lot of interesting things inside.
[Beth, 09/11/2014]We recognize that dummy in the T.Rex jaws -- it's what's left of a beleaguered Union soldier from Dinosaur Kingdom!
