A replica cabin has been assembled with timbers from Crockett's actual cabin homestead. His mother is buried on the site. Rutherford was Crockett's last home before traveling to the Alamo, where he died.
We did not visit the inside of the museum; it's only open by appointment. There are several tables around that make it a great spot for a picnic.
