World's Smallest Diner

The World's Smallest Diner is now on West Bates Road in Trumansburg, New York. The diner is on a gravel driveway in front of what seems to be a farm-like property. There is also a train car nearby. When I visited the diner was not in operation.

[Heidi Roach, 05/29/2025]

The diner stood in Watkins Glen for eight years before being towed about 20 miles north to its current spot in 2025.

This attraction is no longer there. The old guy who owned it moved to Florida. The building is gone.

[Donna Lee, 04/09/2025]

The diner, which is so small that it can be towed by a car, has moved to a new town.

World's Smallest Diner

The World's Smallest Diner is right in the middle of Watkins Glen. It's open for service, but was closed when I visited.

The "diner" was built in 2017 by Gerry Collins. It's 34 square feet and serves mostly hot dogs. It has a functioning kitchen, three stools, but no heat, so it's usually closed in the cold weather months.
