A fan of Ol' Blue Eyes plans to open a small Sinatra Museum next door to Frank's birthplace in Hoboken, NJ. The museum will feature photographs and minor artifacts from the singer's life. The original home, at 415 Monroe Street, burned down years ago. All that remains is a vacant lot and a bronze star in Sinatra's honor.
Dec. 2008: The museum, "From Here To Eternity," was built, but Sinatra's relatives have repeatedly tried to shut it down. It's still here, but whether or not it's open may be a matter of luck if you visit. The star remains in the sidewalk.
Oct. 2009: The museum has closed, and some of its displays are now exhibited at LePore's Chocolate at 537 Garden Street in Hoboken. But the star is still in the sidewalk!
