Cypress Knee Museum to close
The Cypress Knee Museum may close forever! The state of Florida is demanding the property be vacated by April as part of a creek preservation effort. The museum, workshop and swamp walk, on both sides of US Hwy. 27 in Palmdale, was created in the early 1930s by Tom Gaskins. Tom Jr. took over in 1993, and Tom Sr. died in 1998.
