Las Vegas, Nevada - Pirates Battle Seductive Sirens of TI

The Pirate Battle show is alive and well, contrary to a previous report. Maybe it has been reinstated. I watched it from across the Strip, and even at that distance and in the blistering night temperature, you could strongly feel the heat from the fake explosions [AG, 09/19/2004]

The new "Sirens of TI" 3-times nightly performance opened on Treasure Island's outdoor pirate ship in October, 2003. According to a press release, it features a musical "clash between a group of beautiful, tempting sirens and a band of renegade pirates."

"Battle of Buccaneer Bay" was replaced by the sexier new show. The Battle of Buccaneer Bay debuted on October 26, 1993 when Treasure Island opened. The nearly 10-year run and 16,334 performances played to an estimated 35 million people.]

The pirate battle at Treasure Island casino is no longer there.The outside performance now features some silly dancing show called Sirens of Vegas or something.It is also free but don't waste your time.They are totally remodeling the casino.They are calling it TI and will do away with all the pirate motiffs that used to make it one of the funnest casinos to go to. The Buccaneer Bay Show at Treasure Island is gone and replaced with the "Sirens of TI". Vegas is moving toward more of the adult theme. [Greg, 11/16/2003]

The Pirate Ship Battle is something everyone knows BUT don't stand on the sidewalk with the stinking, child-toting masses. Cozy up to the Battle Bar and enjoy the show while comfortably seated at a table with a cold beer in your hand. Go through the front doors and take an immediate right and there it is. It's a better vantage point and so close you can feel the heat from the fire as the ship goes down ! [Tha Biz, 03/08/2003]
