I can't believe someone cut this tree down. I am a little surprised at how sad I felt when I read it. As a kid, we would stop and eat lunch here every summer on our way to and from Oregon. Some people have no respect, or maybe they just don't realize the memories that people hold.
[Jennie, 02/05/2011]Yes, the Shoe Tree was cut down by vandals, and if they ever catch the vandals, they should be hung in a tree and then we could start a vandal tree. People like that have no respect for anything. That tree had a lot of history.
