Very interesting statue. The storyteller is surrounded by other animals who appear to be listening to a story. Not sure how long the statue will be there, there was a sign saying the park was going to be renovated.
Also, not too far from here is the Giant Fish.

A large sculpture of a seated man with a buck head (get it....buckhead). He's holding a large tree branch staff (looks like it may have lights on it). Quite a unique thing to see in the middle of the bible belt. The statue reminded me of the old celtic Lord of the Wild Hunt. Definitely worth a look see.
[Heidi, 01/13/2001] Fun and fast-paced, inside or out. Despite being crazy busy, the folks working the inside counter were very friendly. You can also see the Olympic Torch from the parking lot, so it's a two-fer!

If you go here for the best dawgs in the city, remember to order fast. When you walk up to the counter be prepared to order fast because they will huff and possibly send you to the back of the (long) line. By the time you can order at the first window and sidle down to the next to pay, your order is already ready. Mickey D's could learn a lesson from these guys.
[Veronica Vatter, 04/17/2007] This restaurant is a real Atlanta landmark. It was started in 1928 by Frank Gordy after he flunked out of Georgia Tech and wanted to show them that he could make it. He went across the street from the school and opened this restaurant. He had so much business that he had to move to a new location down the street that is 2 blocks wide (61 North Ave). It has expanded to 5 locations and serves tens of thousands of people every month. Famous for their "What'll ya have" "What'll ya have" greeting at their stainless steel counters, Frosted Oranges and Naked Dogs Walking.

The Storyteller, also known as The Buck Man, was created in 1998 by Frank Fleming. The bronze tableau in Buckhead Triangle Park includes small sculptures of woodland creatures, arrayed around a naked bronze man with an antlered buck head. He is sitting on a log and holding a forked pole with what looks like two lanterns on the top (for another pagan fountain creation by Fleming, head to 5-Points in Birmingham, Alabama). In the same neighborhood as a giant leaping fish and a couple of silvery naked men.
