This is a truly quirky stop on the way to Denali. Mike Carpenter's store has everything: antlers, old "Sarah Palin For Governor" signs, a dog sled, porcupine quills, socks $1 per foot. He has lived there since before the Parks Highway was built.

A roadside shop with a little bit of everything. Great place for tourists to stop and look, or grab some needed supplies. Very interesting! Human hand in a jar! All types of animal pelts and antlers.

Junk, junk, and more junk! You can see everything here, from a live reindeer to a giant pair of flip-flops, to slightly obscene tree formations. There are many signs that try to guilt you into buying something. Now if you could only find something you could justify spending a few dollars on...
