Poll Results: Part of the Action
March 24, 2009
In RoadsideAmerica.com’s online poll about participating in the action at a tourist attraction, voter selections were somewhat evenly spread across the choices we offered.
We asked: If invited by an attraction owner/employee, are you LEAST LIKELY to…
Of the fiveĀ activities, voters were LEAST LIKELY to
1) Climb to the top of a home-built tower (25%)
2) Whirl around on a G-force trainer (24%)
3) Pose holding an alligator (22%).
4) Dress up in period costume (14%)
The “winner,” if we can call it that, is:
5) Touch a static electricity generator (12%).
What we find interesting is that the activity our team has performed most often on trips (“Climb to the top of a home-built tower”) is least preferred by poll respondents (Did it sound too dangerous, or just too dull? ).
On the other hand, we never dress up in period costumes. So at least part of our web site audience are folks who apparently won’t hesitate to put on a colonial dress or cowpoke duds. However, this gives us no insight about who would climb to the top of a home built tower dressed in a period costume while holding an alligator…
