Sweet smelling miracle Mary statue

A Virgin Mary statue at Saint George's Cathedral, Stockton, CA, is claimed to have miraculous healing powers. It also emits mysterious flower smells. The Lady of the Mystical Rose statue is attracting hundreds of Roman Catholics, who hope it will cure illnesses -- as it was reported to do where it came from in the Philippines. [05/08/1999]
