Hilarious! Not what I expected but when figuring it out I laughed so hard I had tears. It's located in the Riverfront park where many other attractions are within easy walking distance.
[Julia, 06/22/2016]A very unusual item. A garbage eating goat -- and it really works. You push the button on the wall and it starts the vacuum. You put the piece of paper under its mouth and it sucks it up.
[Connie from Seattle, 08/20/2013]It was a cool statue but it wasn't working when we were there. I don't know if it was clogged or what, but it was a little disappointing. However, it's in the same park as the Giant Red Wagon (which was cool). There's also an indoor merry-go-round that we decided to take a spin on while we were there.

We spoke with Spokane's Parks Dept. and they confirmed that the goat only eats paper trash and litter. Cans, cups, and bottles will clog the goat, forcing it to shut off. And don't feed cigarette butts to the goat; that can set its innards on fire.
