L.J. Maasdam's Wheel Art L.J. Maasdam's Wheel sculpture was a nice place to stop. Don't forget to bring a lunch. The picnic table's there, held up by what else -- wheels. The plaque at the base reads simply "Constructed by L.J. Maasdam Age 90 Years Old 1994" [Steve, 10/25/2010]

L.J. Maasdam's Wheel Art Awesome! It's a quick trip off I-80, in a secluded area next to a cornfield. It's a pretty huge structure, over 200 large wagon wheels welded together.
