Fargo, North Dakota - Sultan of Swat - Roger Maris Museum

The Roger Maris' Museum has been updated, upgraded and now looks much, much better. There is a room set aside where you can watch movies and glean information on the famous baseball player (at least famous to us North Dakotans). His display cases were revamped a few years back, and over all it has a better feel to it.

There's still a salon, but it's across the hall. It's now neighbored by a cute little pet shop and takes up more of the wall. It's a great tribute to an amazing man. [Kit Lang, 10/24/2007]
