Nelson, British Columbia - Paddlewheeler Steamer S.S.Nasookin

This is the top part of a paddlewheeler ship which used to make trips [before 1947] on the lake that it now overlooks. It is currently a private residence, but it still is neat to look at! [Krista, 01/29/2007]

[RA: The remains of the Nasookin, the two upper floors and the bridge, are now a house facing Kootenay Lake.]

Directions: Head northwards out of Nelson along Highway 3A. It is about 2 miles after the large, orange bridge.
