Jasmine Hill Gardens - Greek Temple Replica Designed by Benjamin and Mary Fitzpatrick during the Depression, this lovely botanical garden is situated on the rim of the Wetumpka impact crater. The gardens are scattered with reproductions of classic sculptures that the Fitzpatricks commissioned in Greece. The centerpiece is an exact reproduction of the ruins of the Temple of Hera. Their website gives conflicting information about when the gardens are open, so call ahead. Admission is charged. [Jeane Goforth, 07/10/2007]
