Teepee.

Fifty-Foot-Tall Concrete Teepee

Visited here, but it does not seem to be open. Just north of I-70 on Hwy 24 that runs parallel as you head towards Kansas City from Lawrence. Two structures, the main Teepee and adjacent building with two smaller teepees attached.

Kitschy architecture from a bygone era. Easy to find, and it's for sale or rent.

Saw the teepee from the road. There was no car lot there, just an empty lot. Teepee is very pretty and well maintained.

50 Foot Tall Concrete Teepee

A unique building, refurbished and well kept. The sign on the door says "Welcome" but, looking inside, there were only a couple of chairs and a washer/dryer. We think it is now a residence. It was fun going up to it to take a pic; it doesn't look 50 feet tall until you are up next to it. We saw the water lines marked on the building from previous floods; hard to believe the water was so high above our heads. The other building with the two teepees on either end is now used for party rental. The teepee is right on the highway so you don't have to search too hard to find it. Just a nice place to stop and regroup to find the next quirky place. Glad we saw it.
